Best coffee in the area. Very high quality
A local delight. Their love and passion for coffee shines through in every cup. You can even pick up a bag of beans while you are there.
Excellent staff and service, and great coffee!
Incredible coffee shop and it’s one of my favorites in the entire area. Matcha is a must if you’re into it but otherwise the coffee is exquisite. Definitely recommend and it’s very quiet.
By far my favorite coffee shop in Delaware- heck, all of the east coast!! Little Goat has high quality coffee that is roasted in-house, addicting speciality drinks, and one of a kind teas. The environment is cozy enough for a winter morning, or chill enough for a summer afternoon. On Saturdays, they have delicious “bites†like muffins and homemade savory tarts. The owners and staff are super friendly and they allow dogs! If you have not been here, you’re seriously missing out!!
Great place! The staff and owners are mega friendly, they're dog-friendly and have delicious coffee that they roast in-house! First choice for coffee in or near Newark!
Very tasty selection of coffee from different regions of the world and attentive service. I had the Lil Coco Loco and the a cappuccino with the condensed coconut milk and both of them were rich in flavor and balanced.
Wonderful spot, I love that they kept some of the elements of the skateboard shop that was there before. The lattes are my go to every time I come in and of course get some CBD in it. Fair prices. Could use some more indoor seating though!
Best coffee shop in Newark! The Ethiopian I had was excellent. Starbucks pales in comparison to this cafe. Not a ton of seating indoors but still a nice place to hang out. The roast their own coffee right in the store which is a huge plus to getting fresh coffees.
I got a vanilla latte, was pleasantly surprised I'll be coming back again
The atmosphere appears to be exceptionally cozy; like sitting in a friendly living room. The only negative is that I am 6'2", so enjoying the coffee in the sitting room is awkward at best. However, this should not prevent you from stopping in for your morning cup-o'-Joe fix, because the coffee itself is exceptional. It surprised me so much that I ordered a different blend to-go just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Both were delicious. I plan to make this a regular stop on days I can start work late.
Great coffee and friendly service. I especially enjoy their specialty drink "Lil Coco Loco"
Beautiful place that have baristas Knowing they job very well welling to help you explore the world of coffee explaining All of your questions with a big Small, for me it's a must go visit this Small coffee shop
Hands down the best coffee I have ever had. The owner truly cares about good coffee. Rather than other chain shops that care about their image and profits. I buy the coffee by the five pound bag it's so good. I even take it when I travel. I'd sooner drink warm mud than choke down the garbage Starbucks calls coffee. It's Little Goat Coffee Roasting or nothing. If you've ever had Illy brand it's like a much better version of that. Seriously. It's the best coffee you will ever have.
I’m so so grateful Little Goat Coffee Roasting exists. It has become routine for me to visit at least once every time I’m in Delaware visiting my father, and it has become a dear + special pastime for us.

Such a lovely and home-like abode, and one of my favorite coffee shops in any state—certainly my favorite in Newark and all of Delaware. The setup (both inside and out on the patio) really make this place a vibe, in addition to the people that run the place and the crowd it attracts. The quality of coffee and the creative, standout speciality drink options also make this place unmistakable.Thank you for your service to all that run this place (i.e. Nick, Shawn, Kenny - no longer there, and the rest).
Love their dark roasts.
Best coffee shop in the tri-state area (and possibly the world!?) Love their vanilla matcha lattes and they have the sweetest staff and owner.
Really good coffee here, and the two guys working Thursday morning were super polite
Delicious coffee made by great people. They roast beans on site giving the shop an amazing scent. Polite and passionate employees!
Without a doubt the best place to get coffee in Newark. Very friendly staff, and has a super cozy atmosphere that is great just to sit and enjoy. The coffee is delicious, and they sell bags for your machine at home. Staff is knowledgeable about coffee and loves to talk about it!
Great place for delicious roasted in house coffee. Cozy atmosphere, friendly baristas. Shout out to Sean, he's the best!
I still think about this place often, even with all the coffee options I have here in Dallas. This place had it all: good coffee, good people, and a unique environment.
Friendly place , fresh coffee a half block in from main street . Have been there twice
Little Goat is a great find! Their prices are reasonable and their product is delicious. Just a few steps off of Main Street, they are conveniently located too. If you have a UD student buy them a gift card. You will be supporting a small business, and your Blue Hen will be forever grateful.
I love the coffee at Little Goat. If you want to go local, they are a great alternative to corporate coffee. There is a small cozy seating area if you are meeting friends or colleagues. They also sell their own brand of coffee here and at my local farm co-op. Don't forget the free parking spaces behind the building!!
Great coffee and great atmosphere! Best coffee in Newark hands down!
Cozy quaint vibe with a great espresso selection. Lacking in breakfast options which is a bit of a bummer. Pretty limited seating if you're looking to hang out for a bit. Otherwise, quaint and pleasant with a nice staff.
This is quite literally the best coffee I've ever had.
Delicious Fair Trade Organic Coffee that is roasted in house with a spectrum of roasts from Light to Dark. Lots of local friendly smiles from the staff. This is great addition to the local Newark Community. I will be back for sure.
Damn. Good. Coffee. Warm staff. Excellent outdoor seating (limited indoor). Very chill vibe, and I repeat: damn good coffee. Large, clean bathroom (if that matters to you). Highly recommend!
Simple fare, great coffee and very honey, relaxed ambience. Really friendly staff!
If you want to pay 6.50 for a cup of coffee this is the place to do it! I had almond milk with was very foamy but delicious.
A cute little cafe in the heart of Newark. Wonderful coffee, wonderful staff and Charming and cozy inside! It's a perfect spot to join friends or get some work done. Couches to sit and chat, and lovely house roasted coffee! They know what the are doing here, whether you are getting a specialty drink or buying beans to enjoy at home! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable to help you find what suits you!!
Great new coffee shop in Newark and perhaps Newark's only coffee roaster. The staff is friendly and it is located on Haines Street in the building that formerly housed the Switch skate shop. The new occupants have completely remodeled the interior and added a large deck outside which will presumably provide plenty of space for outdoor seating when the weather improves in the Spring. The brewed coffee is excellent and pour overs and French press's for two are also available.
The quintessential coffee shop that every town needs. Since they've opened, there hasn't been many weeks that I haven't went in and purchased a cup. Their roasts are great as well, my favorite is their Brazil (medium) roast. They also have a fantastic cold brew that goes perfectly with their vanilla flavoring syrup.
The best lattes anywhere. Much better than the big chain on the same street. The staff are excellent and always make you feel at home.
Nice little coffee shop just off Main Street. Several seating options inside and out. My cappuccino was excellent. Service was good. There are not many food options, just some very good cookies. Free WiFi and it was very popular with students.
This coffee shop is great. It's one of the few in the area that roasts in-house, paying close attention to the flavors of the beans and the art of brewing coffee. Staff are always polite and timely in preparing orders, and I have never been disappointed! Plenty of indoor and outdoor space also to work. There are many outfits anymore that try to dress up coffee too much with flavoring, adding it to frappucinos, etc. If you desire to sip on a cup of coffee with complex, natural flavors from the beans, this is your place.
Best traditional brewed coffee I've ever had. You can seriously taste the quality of the coffee beans, and the differences that come from individual origins. It was almost like my taste buds were transported across the world. Seriously was amazing. Especially if you legitimately enjoy the subtle tastes of coffee, and don't cover it up with sugar, or extreme amounts of dairy. Get the Pour Over to order for the best experience, and you can pick one of the single origin beans that they have in stock, which they have nice descriptions of at the counter. I haven't tried any of their espresso drinks, but considering how amazed I was by the drip coffee, I'm sure it's good.
Great new coffee place, I have bought many bags of coffee beans from them since they opened. A great new addition to the area. High quality well roasted beans, and a cool little coffee shop. Only thing I would like to see added is a roasted on date on the bags ;)
Great place! Wonderful coffee and specially Tea!! Best tea ever had!! I recommend house made chai for tea lovers!!! ☕ï¸â˜•ï¸
Best coffee shop, hands down. Locally owned and operated. Ethically sourced. They get all my coffee business.
This place blows Starbucks out of the water. I’m going to be buying a grinder soon so I can dive into some of there delicious beans. It’s a must go if you are in the area and want good coffee from great people.
I love their dark house coffee!
Delicious drinks (try the peanut butter hot cocoa-- you won't be disappointed!!), super cute and cozy atmosphere with comfy couches inside and spacious outdoor seating, and very friendly staff. My absolute favorite coffee shop in Delaware! I always feel at home here:)
a really nice menu selection and fast and friendly service. the interior decoration is fantastic
A cozy space with a few places to work or relax on a couch. I got an Ethiopian coffee which was truly fresh. My friend got a coffee with their homemade sweetened condensed coconut cream and it was so subtlety sugary and delicious. The baristas were kind and friendly. Will be going again tomorrow!
Delicious oat milk latte in a lovely craft mug.
Nice and cozy , GREAT COFFEE and snacks!
Great locally/family owned and operated coffee shop/roaster. Fair trade and single point origin offerings with good espresso drinks/tea/small snacks. Interior is a bit small, but comfy and well decorated. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and you can watch and smell the beans roasting.
